Ferrell Hospital would not be the successful organization it is today without the many volunteers who have supported our endeavors. Joining the Auxiliary and becoming a volunteer are great ways to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families, and to socialize and make new friends.
Ferrell Hospital Auxiliary
Ferrell Hospital Auxiliary is a self-governing membership organization designed to be an integral part of the hospital. It was founded by local individuals who wanted to help Ferrell fulfill their mission to improve the health and welfare of the community. The Auxiliary functions in accord with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the hospital. No dues or fees are associated with membership.
The Auxiliary has graciously purchased a multitude of items for the hospital including a van and a variety of medical equipment.
Volunteer opportunities are available for adults age 18 and older and are typically 4-8 hours in length, one day per week. Responsibilities include things such as assisting in fundraising on behalf of the hospital, serving as a communicative agent between the hospital and community, and taking part in various activities designed to strengthen and improve the health care delivery system.
