Cystoscopy
A procedure using a thin tube with a camera and light on the end (cystoscope) to see inside the urinary tract and bladder.
 
Cystoscopy with urethral dilation
Dilating (stretching) the urethra to treat stricture (narrowing) or help pass the cystoscope.
 
 

Surgical Services

Adrenalectomy
Removal of the entire adrenal gland.
 
Circumcision
Removal of foreskin covering the head of the penis.
 
Hydrocelectomy/Spermatocelectomy
Removal of a hydrocele as well as a spermatocele (if present) from the scrotum. (for men)
 
Kidney/Bladder Stones

• ESWL Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy: shock waves sent from outside the body are targeted at a kidney stone causing the stone to break into tiny pieces.
• Litholapaxy: crushing bladder stones and washing out the fragments.
• Ureteroscopy: removal of kidney stones using a thin tube (ureteroscope) that is passed through the urethra and the bladder, and then directly into the ureter.

 
TURP Transurethral Resection of Prostate
Procedure where excess prostate tissue is trimmed to restore urine flow. This is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
