The $34 million expansion and renovation at Ferrell Hospital is underway, resulting in changes to entrances and patient parking. Sections of two nearby streets will also permanently close on April 15.

The new patient drop off and entrance for Ferrell Hospital and the Ferrell Hospital Family Practice Clinic will be relocated to Benton Street, at the north end of the current hospital complex.  Patient parking will be immediately across Benton Street in an existing lot.  Employee parking will be in a lot further north, off Glenwood.

Two streets running north-south next to Ferrell Hospital will close permanently due to construction of the 55,000 square foot addition that will cover the area.  Maple Street and Glenwood Avenue, between Benton and Grant Streets, will both permanently close a week from today.

“As we grow to better serve our patients and community, we know there will be some temporary inconveniences in parking and wayfinding,” said Alisa Coleman, CEO, Ferrell Hospital. “We will do our best to communicate changes in advance via local media, social media and our website.”

Ongoing information will be posted here in the Ferrell Hospital News Room.
